Balmain is an electoral district of New South Wales. It was created in 1885, abolished in 1894, recreated in 1904, reabolished in 1991 and recreated in 2007.

Balmain was historically a working class seat with a high Labor vote, but in modern times has been a progressive electorate and has been held by the Greens since 2011.

Balmain is located in the Sydney CBD.
